My health was a burden on my life for years.
I personally struggled with the whole gamut, really:
Chronic digestive issues (like GERD, constipation, bloating, distention, abdominal pain), chronic fatigue, stress, anxiety, horrible PMS and hormonal imbalances, low libido, bouts of depression, and frequent infection and illness like strep throat, scarlet fever, and UTI’s, that meant
lots of antibiotics, and getting my tonsils removed!
I spent years on all sorts of medications and antibiotics, seeing doctors, and having diagnostics tests done — searching for answers, and never finding them.
It was an incredibly frustrating time.
My gut wasn't functioning properly, I was exhausted, and I was sick.
I couldn't live my life how I wanted to, and I didn't feel like me.
Needless to say, I wasn’t thriving.
My symptoms impacted my mental health, my social life, my confidence, my trust and comfort within my own body, my relationships, my work, my sex life, my happiness.
Becoming fed up with how I was feeling led me to take a hard look at how I was living, and where I needed to make change — at the things in my life that weren't serving me, and maybe even contributing to how I was feeling.
I decided to take charge of my health and prioritize my wellbeing. I made changes to my nutrition, my lifestyle, my sleep hygiene, my movement, and got support with my mental health. I addressed underlying imbalances.
Embracing change was difficult, (and frankly, pretty GD uncomfortable), but it's what was necessary to finally see the transformation I was looking for.
Ultimately, I started to get back to feeling like, well, me.
Now, I help folks struggling with frustrating digestive issues to transform their health.
